Ingredients

Shot of Tequila (high-end Repasodo, only–no Hornitos or Cuervo!)

Bottle of Pale Ale (no IPAs or fruity seasonals!)

 

Instructions

Take the shot. Open the beer. Drink.

Rinse and repeat.

The Bees Knees

Originally, the Bee’s Knees drink was created to mask the taste of bathtub gin made during Prohibition.

Ingredients:

2 oz gin

3/4 oz Honey syrup (To make, use equal parts honey and water. Warm the two in the microwave or the stovetop until they whisk nicely together; otherwise the honey will clump in the shaker). Leftover honey simple syrup keeps in the fridge for more than a week.

3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

Twist of lemon

 

Preparation

Shake all ingredients together in shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass, add a twist of lemon, and serve. Enjoy!

¾ ounce Amaro Nonino

¾ ounce lemon juice

 

Preparation:

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass.

.5 Cynar

.25 Amaretto

2.0 Assam Tea (brew tea & let cool)

 

Directions

Mix all ingredients in Mason Jar

Top & Store in Freezer for two hours

 The Convergence

Ingredients

2 Ounces Mezcal

1 Ounce Lime

1 Ounce Simple Syrup (or Agave Syrup)

1/2 Ounce Shiraz or Malbec

 

Preparation

Mix Mezcal, lime, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Gently pour 1/2 ounce of Malbec or Shiraz over the back of a spoon held just above the drinks surface so the wine floats on top.

 


The Convergence Mocktail

Ingredients

Club Soda

1 Ounce Lime

1 Ounce Simple Syrup (or Agave Syrup)

1/2 Ounce Cranberry Juice

 

Preparation

Mix club soda, lime, and simple syrup in a rocks glass and stir well. Fill with ice and gently pour the cranberry juice over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces vodka

½ ounce fresh lime juice (about ½ medium lime)

4 ounces ginger beer

Lime wedge, for garnish

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Fill a copper mug or similarly sized glass with ice. Pour in the vodka and lime juice. Fill the glass with ginger beer and gently swirl it with a spoon once to mix.

 

Garnish with a lime wedge, and enjoy!
